How does it work?:
Claiming is easy! Receive and pay for your treatment as normal, fill in your IoD Personal Health Plan claim form and send it in to Westfield Health. We’ll then arrange payment directly into your bank account.

David was told he needed an MRI scan, but he was advised by his GP that the NHS waiting list would mean it would be several months before he could have an appointment. With the cover provided by his IoD Personal Health Plan, following referral from his Consultant, David simply contacted the Scanning Helpline and was able to access his scan within two weeks.
June found it increasingly difficult to arrange an appointment at a convenient time with her family GP. Her daughter had been complaining of a painful ankle for several days but when June contacted her GP no appointments were available. Thanks to her IoD Personal Health Plan, June was able to use the GP Telephone Consultation Helpline instead. A fully qualified GP called her back at an agreed time and took her through a thorough examination of her daughter’s foot. He was able to provide a diagnosis over the phone reassuring both June and her daughter as well as causing very little disruption to her day.
