Westfield plan is a ‘perfect match’

A leading electronics manufacturing company has found the perfect way to complement its Private Medical Insurance (PMI) - in the shape of a Westfield Health cash plan.

Axiom Manufacturing Services Ltd, based in Newbridge, South Wales, was introduced to Westfield’s Foresight Health Cash Plan by Ian Culverhouse, a healthcare intermediary from the Jelf Group PLC.

Ian said: "I met with Axiom in early 2008, with a view to renewing their health insurance. While being successful at renewing this policy, I also established that their employee numbers are now well over 200 and they were only offering PMI to a proportion of their workforce.

"This left a gap in their requirements for which the Foresight Plan seemed a perfect match. Westfield has a great reputation in the market and I was confident that its mix of benefits would be successful.

"During these difficult economic times, a cash plan can take the place of PMI at a much-reduced premium and still provide a valuable benefit. Also, if staff are feeling the strain of inflation being higher than wage increases, adding a cash plan onto the list of benefits will help every family with their day-to-day healthcare expenses and keep the company’s own balance sheets intact."
