NFU Mutual

NFU Mutual introduced a Westfield Health cash plan for all members of staff as part of an overhaul of the company’s health and wellbeing strategy.

NFUM, which advises customers on insurance, pensions and investments, has reviewed its own health insurance cover for staff in a bid to boost employee wellbeing.

Intermediary and Healthwise New Business Manager Bob Catchpole initially utilised Westfield Mosaic – an innovative, flexible quotation system – to tailor a bespoke health cash plan for NFUM, and this eventually led to the launch of the NFUM Health and Wellbeing Plan.

Westfield Health fixes company’s healthcare needs

Parafix

The UK's leading converter and distributor of self-adhesive materials has swapped its private medical insurance (PMI) for a health cash plan in a bid to save money whilst still providing staff with a high level of healthcare cover.

Parafix, which has its head office in Lancing, near Brighton in West Sussex, employs 55 members of staff in the UK and also has a manufacturing site in Budapest.

The company had previously provided its UK-based employees with PMI but it was proving to be expensive and it became clear that it wasn’t sustainable in the long term, particularly during difficult financial times.

Insurer’s healthy approach tackles absence

Adelaide Insurance

An insurance company currently marking its 20th anniversary has an extra reason to celebrate thanks to its healthy workforce.

While business at Adelaide Insurance was up by 25 per cent last year, absence levels were down to just 0.79 days per employee. A further 40 per cent of staff took no sick leave at all.

The insurance broking company based in Belfast introduced a new company policy on sickness absence in 2005, which included providing Westfield’s Foresight Healthcare Plan for staff.

Derby County Football Club

Championship football club Derby County is ensuring its backroom staff stay fit and healthy thanks to a Westfield Health cash plan.

The Club used the Westfield Mosaic flexible quotation system to tailor a bespoke cash plan to their specific needs.
