Westfield Health announces new Chief Executive
Westfield Health has announced the appointment of Jill Davies as Chief Executive.

Current Deputy Chief Executive Jill takes up the post after successfully leading Westfield’s sales and marketing team for more than 13 years. During this time Jill has led the strategy for outstanding business development to help Westfield become the highly respected national provider of innovative health insurance products it is today.
Graham Moore is stepping down as Chief Executive to concentrate on his continuing role as Non-Executive Chairman of the award-winning health cash plan provider.
Graham explained: "Continuity is vital to the success of any organisation and that has been central to this change. Jill and I have worked in a strong and effective partnership for more than 13 years and there is a huge amount of shared mutual respect between us, which has made the gradual shift in the balance of responsibilities during the past year such a seamless process.
"We are proud that together we have masterminded and managed significant change in Westfield’s business development, building on the solid regional foundations of the organisation to become a recognised leading provider of health cash plans."
Jill and Graham have steered Westfield through its most successful period ever since it was founded in 1919. Westfield’s significant growth is shown in the following figures for this period.
- In 1996 Westfield had a turnover of £21.1m – today that figure is £51.3m
- In 1996 Westfield had 268,000 policyholders – today the figure is more than 370,000
- In 1996 3,100 companies operated a Westfield plan for their employees - today that figure is more than 9,500
This substantial wide-ranging progress has led to Westfield Health increasing its share of the health cash plan market – bucking the sector trend which has seen a static UK market since 2000 (Laing and Buisson: UK Market Report 2007).
Jill paid tribute to Graham’s outstanding leadership. She said: "When Graham arrived at Westfield in 1985, we largely serviced local contributors and companies. As well as caring for our local valued and loyal stakeholders, Westfield now operates all over Britain providing plans for prestigious leading UK companies and organisations such as the British Chambers of Commerce and the Institute of Directors.
"We owe much to Graham and through him Westfield is now offering more people the healthcare benefits of a Westfield plan than ever before."
