Westfield Health has announced the launch of a range of online services and initiatives for customers.
All policyholders on Westfield’s Advantage, Good4you, Foresight and Chamber health cash plans can now view their benefit balances, previous claims and make general amendments to their accounts simply by visiting the My Westfield area of the website.
Westfield Health Chief Executive Jill Davies explained: “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is one area where constant investment is required to keep pace with the changing demands of our customers and partners. We focus our investment in areas that benefit customers and help to reduce costs together with improving efficiency and service levels.
Jill said that the savings generated by the increased usage of online services were being invested back into the business and into the improvement of products and services provided for customers, as well as into keeping the prices of plans as low as possible.
A further feature of Westfield’s online campaign is a special offer that is currently available to new customers who join the Good4you Plan online. This offer waives the usual qualifying period, enabling new policyholders to start claiming their benefits as soon as their cover is in place.
Jill summed up: “More and more people are using the internet to find out about health cash plans. The market place is getting a lot more web savvy and as a company we have to live up to those expectations by maximising our online presence in new and innovative ways.
“By focusing on our website and encouraging people to join a Westfield cash plan online, we can improve services for our customers and, at the same time, cut our carbon footprint by dramatically reducing the amount of paperwork. It makes so much sense on every level.”
The Good4you Plan provides policyholders with cash back, up to set limits, towards the cost of everyday healthcare, such as dental treatment, eye care, physiotherapy and chiropody, plus many more.
The plan also provides access to a confidential freephone 24-hour counselling and advice line, a 24-hour GP telephone consultation service, and provides cover for dependent children and partners on some benefits at no extra cost.
