For just an extra £1.24 per employee, per week, employers can provide their staff with Surgery Choices cover. Employees will be covered for 60 non-urgent surgical procedures for conditions such as:
If an employee is unable to obtain speedy access to treatment on the NHS, they can access private treatment quickly with their Surgery Choices cover – giving them the choice and control over their healthcare and helping your clients get their key staff back to work quicker.
If an employee is assessed as unsuitable for private treatment* or prefers NHS treatment, they will be given a cash lump sum once they have undrgone their surgical procedure..

Surgery Choices fixed price private treatment package is the maximum amount made available for sourcing a treatment package for private surgery.NHS Benefit is the amount of money payable to the employer, should they receive treatment through the NHS.
Pre-existing medical conditions are covered where an employee has been symptom free and has not sought advice or treatment for two consecutive years from the date that cover commenced.
