Westfield makes a PACT with charity
A Sheffield tumour and leukaemia charity has received a £20,000 boost in the form of a donation from Westfield Health.
The Parents’ Association of Children with Tumours and Leukaemia (PACT) is a support group working within Sheffield Children’s Hospital for families with children who have cancer and leukaemia.
Keith Circuit, Chairman of the PACT General Committee, said: "We are delighted to receive such a generous donation from Westfield Health and are very grateful for their continuing support for our charity.”
Westfield Health is a keen supporter of PACT, which organises family trips, raises funds to support medical and research staff, and runs the PACT House – a home from home at Western Bank for families who want to be close to their children when undergoing treatment.
PACT continues to be an invaluable source of both practical and emotional support for children and their families throughout their contact with the oncology unit at the Children’s Hospital.
