The Westfield Health British Transplant Games get into full swing today with the first full day of sporting action.
Events will be taking place across Coventry as the Games begin in earnest, with the highlights of the day including golf, fishing, tennis and canoeing.
From 8.30am, golfers will be teeing off at Brandon Wood Golf Course in their bid to claim glory on the greens.
An early start is also billed at the main sports centre at the University of Warwick, where the volleyball gets underway.
The morning’s line-up is completed by the fishing at Jubilee Pools, the tennis at the Westwood Tennis Centre and canoeing at the Royal Leamington Spa Canoe Club.
The afternoon serves up table tennis for children and adults at the University’s main sports centre, starting at 2pm.
From 7pm the fun really starts with a 3D disco for the kids and a 70s fancy dress party for the adults.
In the evening, from 8.30pm, the darts event gets into full flight in the Rootes Social Building.
Anyone can come to watch the events and entrance is free of charge.
