Health and care associations from all over the UK are looking after their workforce as well as their clients by endorsing Westfield’s acclaimed Foresight Healthcare Plan.
All of the main health and social care bodies and associations across the UK are now promoting the benefits of the corporate-paid health cash plan to their members as a cost-effective way of meeting business needs as well as providing a range of healthcare benefits popular with employees.
Westfield is now the preferred health cash plan provider of the following associations: English Community Care Association (ECCA), Complete Care Network Ltd, Independent Health & Care Providers, National Care Association (NCA), Norfolk Independent Care Homes, the Registered Nursing Home Association, Scottish Care and Scottish Care at Home.
Krystyna Gibbons, Westfield Health Business Development Consultant, said: “The Foresight Plan is a simple and innovative plan that supports a company’s sickness absence strategy and offers a boost to recruitment and retention, so it’s not hard to see why so many health-related associations really value it.
“Health and care is probably one of the sectors that most requires a comprehensive range of benefits for its staff – and being the preferred provider for these associations puts Westfield in very good company.”
The English Community Care Association (ECCA) is the largest representative body for independent care homes in England and not only endorses the Foresight Plan to its members but also covers its own workforce on the plan.
ECCA Chief Executive Martin Green said: “The feedback from everyone involved in the plan has been universally positive. Not only is it a fantastic product, but it is efficiently administered and very easy to use.
“A major factor affecting ECCA members is stress, and there is the issue of consistent bereavement for staff working with and caring for elderly residents and how they cope with their grief when the people they are caring for die.
“We felt that benefits such as the 24-hour counselling and advice line could help with these issues and wanted our members to know about the plan as a result.
“Healthcare costs are rising – that’s a fact. But it’s also a fact that if you have this plan in place for your staff they can access a wide range of healthcare benefits and will be able to deal with medical issues more swiftly.”
Westfield’s Foresight Plan is available on a corporate-paid only basis to companies with five or more employees.
The plan offers three levels of cover – £1, £2 or £3.75 per employee, per week – and provides 100 per cent reimbursement on all cash benefits, up to set limits. Benefits include dental, optical, therapy treatments and diagnostic consultations. Employees can also access MRI, CT and PET scanning facilities and a full Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).
