Westfield shortlisted for national award
Westfield continues to strengthen its position as one of the UK’s leading health cash plan providers after being shortlisted for a coveted title at a prestigious national awards ceremony.
The Sheffield-based organisation has been placed in the top percentage in the Best Cash Plan Provider category in the Cover Excellence Awards 2010, which recognise the leading lights in the health and protection industry and reward both providers and intermediaries.
Westfield Chief Executive Jill Davies said: "We believe Westfield leads the way in the health insurance industry in terms of product and service innovation, so we are thrilled to be shortlisted for this award.
"We have had a fantastic year, having enhanced and developed our product range to incorporate the next generation of benefits.
"For example, following extensive research into intermediary, employer and employee needs, we have relaunched our Foresight Healthcare Plan to include new benefits such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, an online personal health risk assessment and support for employers with BusinessCare."
The award winners will be announced at the Cover Excellence Awards ceremony and dinner on Thursday October 7 at the Victoria Plaza in London.
