Nottingham City Transport – Chamber Plan
Nottingham City Transport Ltd (NCT), the main provider of public transport in and around the City of Nottingham, provides its 1,000 employees with the Chamber Primary Health Plan.
Michael Leafe, NCT’s Head of Human Resources, said: “We believe that the health and physical and mental wellbeing of our employees is critical if we are to achieve our objectives. Providing healthcare is a means of demonstrating our commitment to our staff.
"We’ve had positive feedback from individuals and the Trade Union that the plan is well received in times of financial difficulty. It’s a great benefit to have.
"Optical and dental cover have been popular, but we have had a few instances of the MRI scanning benefit being used. In those cases there could have been a serious medical problem, so it’s good to know that staff can get quicker diagnosis by using the Westfield plan.
