What is the 3rings plug?

3rings is a smart plug designed to reduce the worry that families have about a relative living alone by answering the question “Are they OK today?”

Simply plug in an appliance your loved one uses regularly (such as a kettle) into the 3rings plug and we will send you a message that everything is ok when it's turned on. Tell us when the appliance is most commonly used (for example between 7am & 9am) and if it's not switched on, we will send you an alert.

You can set flexible rules which suit your loved ones’ lives.

We can send a message that everything is ok today to up to 10 family members and friends by smartphone app, email, text or automated call. If no activity is detected we will send them an alert.

When your loved one turns on the appliance connected to the 3rings plug, it lets the 3rings Portal know using its inbuilt mobile connection.

The 3rings Portal ‘listens’ for activity based on the times you set.

You and your family or friends are notified that everything is OK or alerted if no activity has been detected.

The plug complies with UK regulations and is recommended for UK use only.

The monthly subscription covers all data charges, emails, text and calls to up to 10 family members and friends. Other packages are available on request.

*The pay as you go monthly subscription option can be cancelled at any time. For packages where full payment is made in advance, these are fixed term contracts.

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your product, you can return it within 30 days of shipment for a full product refund including any prepayments to subscriptions.
