Westfield Health helps to spread some Christmas cheer
Westfield Health has joined forces with Sheffield United FC to bring some festive cheer to children across Sheffield this Christmas.
More than 40 Sheffield United players and coaching staff took part in a Christmas community visit day which saw the first team squad and some of the younger players simultaneously visit four organisations to give out gifts ahead of the festive period.
To help them get ready we took time out, along with other local sponsors, to provide a helping hand by packing up Christmas goodies from the Blades Superstore.
The players visited four different organisations, including the annual trip to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, Hallam FM (for the radio station’s Mission Xmas event) and Norfolk Park Special Needs School.
Our Head of PR & Sponsorship, Angela Bullivant, said: “We're absolutely delighted to support this special Christmas event.
“We take our role in the local community very seriously, so we were honoured to make a donation to fund the merchandise and also to help deliver the presents with the Blades players on the day.
“The festive period can be a difficult time for many families, particularly those with children in hospital, so I hope this Sheffield United visit will have helped to brighten up their Christmas.”
