Westfield Health chairman grows moustache in support of male cancer charity
Our Chairman Graham Moore has taken part in the annual fundraiser, Movember, which raises awareness of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.
Graham’s participation means that Westfield Health has joined Sheffield United – the club where we are a major sponsor– in taking part in Movember.
Four members of staff from the Blades Superstore and commercial sales executive Liam Robinson are representing Sheffield United FC.
Graham, a Vice President at the Blades, has never grown a moustache in his life and was nervous about the prospect. He said: “Having previously worked for Gillette, not shaving has felt very strange but it’s for a great cause.
“This year the Movember challenge is not just about growing a moustache, however, it is also about encouraging people to be more active.
“This is something we feel very strongly about at Westfield Health. We work hard to ensure our staff and our customers stay fit and healthy, so we’re really proud to join SUFC in getting behind the initiative.
“Many of my colleagues took part in the campaign last year so I hope they prevent me standing out by supporting the initiative again this year.”
Movember has expanded its fundraising options this year with the ‘Move in Movember’ campaign which challenges fundraisers to take part in physical activity every day throughout November.
