Our landmark head office building up for sale
We’ve moved a step closer to relocating as our headquarters on Division Street have been put up for sale.
Our head office has been sited at 87 Division Street since 1973 but is set to relocate to the former Milton House on Charter Row later this year.
Our Executive Director, Julie Gill, said: “Westfield Health was founded in Sheffield almost 100 years ago, and our roots are firmly embedded here, in the heart of the city.
“As we continue to grow and develop, our current home on Division Street would require substantial investment and development to meet our needs.
“After carefully weighing up the options, we’ve concluded it’s more practical and cost effective to move to a larger home. Our new building will be more energy efficient and have improved facilities for our customers and employees.
“Our commitment to the future of our home city is very much reflected in our plans to regenerate a prominent city centre building and the boost it will provide for the emerging, new look Sheffield city centre.”
Building work on the new property is approaching completion and will include a new and improved customer service function for our policyholders.
Julie added: “This move is an important milestone as we continue to grow and also branch out into emerging markets in health, wellbeing and care. It really is a new era for Westfield Health.”
Peter Whiteley, Partner of Knight Frank LLP has been instructed to sell our current head office, Westfield House at the junction of Division Street and Rockingham Street, and two adjoining buildings known as Rockingham Court and 89-93 Division Street – a mixed investment/development opportunity, comprising a total of approximately 48,650 sqft occupying a prime central site, close to Devonshire Green and Barkers Pool.
