Healthy sponsorship for the Sheffield Hatters!
Westfield Health has announced it will continue its sponsorship of the Sheffield Hatters as it seeks to further champion health and wellbeing in the region.
The Sheffield-based health and wellbeing company has sponsored the club since December 2010 and will continue its support for the current Women’s British Basketball League (WBBL) season as main sponsor.
Chief Executive of Westfield Health, David Capper, said: “We’re really pleased to be a valued sponsor of the Hatters.
“At Westfield Health, we encourage people to make positive and healthy choices through leading an active lifestyle and the Hatters are fantastic role models for this. We share a similar ethos to the Hatters, which makes our decision to remain as a sponsor an easy one.
“The season has now started and we’re looking forward to cheering on the team and hopefully seeing them challenging for silverware again.”
Vanessa Ellis, head coach of the Hatters, said: “We’d like to thank Westfield Health for their continued support of the team.
“Family and community are a big part of the Hatters’ culture so we’re very happy to sustain our longstanding relationship with the Westfield Health team.
“We’ve worked really hard in training prior to the start of the season and I think we have a really strong team once again this year with a couple of very talented new signings.”
The Hatters have announced the signing of WBBL Team of the Year star Alison Gorrell from Team Northumbria, who will line-up alongside another new face in Luiana Livulo, as well as the returning Helen Naylor, Naomi Campbell, Deborah Rodriguez and Ana Santana Gonzalez.
