Sleeping out to help the homeless.

Two of our executive directors will be sleeping rough tonight to raise money for a homeless charity in Sheffield.

Julie Gill and Dave Capper will be taking part in the Business Leader Sleep Out in aid of the Cathedral Archer Project, which is aiming to raise £25,000 to support their 25th anniversary of working with the homeless.

Dave and Julie will be joining fellow business leaders from across Sheffield on the Cathedral forecourt to raise awareness of homeless and vulnerable people in the city.

Julie said: “While spending the night on the streets of Sheffield is a daunting prospect, we’re delighted to be supporting such a worthy cause.

“I’m sure it’s going to be a humbling experience, especially knowing that this is real life for many people who can’t just go home in the morning. We hope that the money we raise will go some way to helping the homeless to lead fulfilling, stable and enjoyable lives.”

The Cathedral Archer Project provides essential services to help homeless people by supporting them to improve their wellbeing, develop their independence and improve their ability to tackle setbacks and identify and change negative behaviour.
