Westfield Health welcomes Duke of Gloucester to new HQ

One of Sheffield’s best-known businesses has welcomed a special Royal visitor to its new headquarters.

The Duke of Gloucester had a tour of Westfield Health’s state of the art offices in Charter Row, met staff and was given an overview of the work of the Westfield Health Charitable Trust with local and national charities.

His Royal Highness was greeted at the headquarters of health and wellbeing company, Westfield Health, by Vice Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire, John Holt and introduced to the High Sheriff of South Yorkshire, Stephen Ingram, Graham Moore, Chairman of Westfield Health, Jill Davies, Chief Executive of Westfield Health and the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Anne Murphy.

Representatives from four charities - Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity, Weston Park Cancer Charity, St Luke’s Hospice and Transplant Sport were presented. Each charity has received considerable support from the Westfield Health Charitable Trust.

Graham Moore said: “We are honoured to have welcomed the Duke of Gloucester to our new building, Westfield House, and very proud to have introduced him to the four charities we have worked with closely over the past few years.

“Through the Westfield Health Charitable Trust, we’ve donated more than £14m to the NHS and medically related charities over the last 20 years. We passionately support the health and wellbeing of communities across the UK and will continue to provide donations in the future.

“We hope that the tour of the new headquarters showcased the commitment we have towards Westfield’s future and the traditional values we uphold.

“The move to our new home signifies the start of a new era for Westfield Health, and what better way to have marked this occasion than with a visit from the Duke of Gloucester.”

The Duke unveiled a plaque to commemorate his visit to Westfield House and met staff before concluding with lunch.
