Never make assumptions on the needs of your employees. Communicate with them regularly to make sure that any initiatives you are delivering match up with what’s wanted or required by your workforce. You also need to continually evaluate any programmes of work that are in place to ensure they are doing what you set out to achieve – continual communication and feedback from your staff is key.
