Was there a particular problem that you were looking to overcome by providing Wellbeing Webinars to your employees?
We survey our employees every couple of years to find out what support they need and we used their feedback along with insights from HR publications and the news to understand which webinar topics would be most relevant.
We already have the Westfield Health cash plan and some other wellbeing services in place, so we wanted to enhance the wellbeing offering and fill the gaps of what was missing. The webinars provided an easy way to reach a large number of our employees.
What impact did the webinars have?
We chose the topics: Money happiness and wellbeing, mental health awareness, men’s health and women’s health.
Approximately 80% of our employees attended the webinars and we’ve had great feedback. In particular, the mental health and money webinars struck a chord with our employees and the webinars have increased discussions in the office about the topics. As a result of some of the discussions in the women’s health webinar, we’ve introduced an alternative uniform option for our female employees who are going through the menopause.
Outcome:
As a result of discussions in the women’s health webinar an alternative uniform has been introduced for employees going through the menopause.
