It’s with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share that our friend and Honorary Lifetime President of Westfield Health, Graham Moore MBE, has sadly passed away.

For over 35 years, Graham has been a fundamental part of Westfield Health’s history in his roles as CEO, Chairman and Honorary Lifetime President.

It’s unquestionable that Graham has made a lasting impact during those years, growing Westfield Health from a small local business to a leading provider of health cash plans in the UK. He was incredibly passionate about giving back to those in need, and was a particular driving force behind our strategic charitable partnership with the British Transplant Games — a key event on our calendar, which he attended every year.

Graham’s unwavering dedication, leadership and kindness has left a profound impression on all of us. His legacy will live on in everything we do, and we’re all proud to continue his great work here at Westfield Health. He will be truly missed.

Dave Capper, Group CEO of Westfield Health, had this to share:

“Graham’s passing has had a profound impact on everyone who knew him, especially for colleagues here at Westfield Health. The messages and calls I have received from so many people tell their own story – that he made a difference. As CEO and then Chair, Graham transformed Westfield Health from a small Sheffield business to a driving force in the UK health cash plan market. He also took our charitable giving back to another level and has embedded this into our DNA. On a personal level, Graham had been a mentor to me for many, many years. In good and bad times, he was consistently on the end of a phone call with sound advice. RIP Graham”

Steve Purdham, Chairman of Westfield Health, adds:

“Following in the footsteps of Graham felt like an almost impossible job, with incredibly big shoes to fill. Amongst the South Yorkshire community, he was known as Mr Westfield and Mr Sheffield. He single-handedly drove our long-term strategic charitable partnership with the British Transplant Games which he lovingly attended every year. More than anything else, he leaves a legacy that we’re all proud to continue as the custodians of Westfield Health and he will be truly missed by us all. Thank you, Graham.”
