Our donations are handled by our people through our Giving Back Committee, which is made up of our colleagues from across the Westfield Health Group. They’re responsible for determining which organisations to donate to within the scope of their Terms of Reference, and own budget.
They can donate to both charities and non-charities (which include company donations, individual donations and donations to community initiatives). As we have no shareholders, giving back is the reason that Westfield Health exists, and this Committee links our people to the very heart of this mission.
Over the course of 2024/25, our Westfield House Sheffield HQ office space and meeting rooms have been used for free by eight different local causes and charities for things like meetings, wellbeing and cancer support days, events and filming.
This was for a total of 454.5 hours, saving them £9,090!
We work in partnership with Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) to donate defibrillators to places in need. These go to workplaces, community centres, schools, visitor attractions, churches and sports venues.

This is a national charity dedicated to supporting children who spend time in hospices around the UK. Their aim is to create inspiring gardens for them and their families to relax in and benefit from. This is one of the palliative care causes we have supported over the past year and these pictures show the amazing work they did with our donation for the Derian House Childrens Hospice.
